Working alongside our Health Expert, we have created a Mental Health and Wellbeing Toolkit within a framework which can be adapted for any organisation. With 1 in 4 people likely to experience a mental health condition this year, it’s important that your line managers have the resource to be able to support employees, creating a supportive and healthy environment. As the new Ofsted Inspection is now suggesting employee Wellbeing will be part of the Leadership and Management scoring, now is a good time to review and update your processes.

The Mental Health and Wellbeing Toolkit process will focus a shift from the reactive management of sickness absence to a more proactive approach of prevention through promoting wellbeing and improving staff engagement and offering new ways to address staff wellbeing. Having a practical and useable toolkit will help individuals manage their mental health and wellbeing in the work environment more effectively.

The Framework, which can be white-labelled and tailored for each client is made up of the following options:

  1. Mental Health and Wellbeing Handbook:
This will include the 5 pillars of Mental Health and Wellbeing creating the 5 Units of knowledge and resource
  2. Quick Glance Personal Card
  3. Mental Health & Wellbeing Policy
This will link to your Safeguarding and Prevent Policies
  4. Induction touchpoint
The staff and student inductions are the first touchpoint for information exchange.
  5. Online Webinars
  6. In conversation with Podcast Style resources
